Description

It is indicated for lower respiratory tract infections, e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess and infections associated with cystic fibrosis; upper respiratory tract infections, e.g. tonsillitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, otitis media and quinsy; pelvic infections e.g. septic abortion, salpingitis, peuerperal pyrexia and caesarean section prophylaxis: Urinary tract infections, cystitis and pyelonephritis. Also indicated for skin and soft tissue infections, e.g. abscesses, boils carbuncles and postoperative wound infections. Also gastrointestinal infections and other infections, e.g. septicemia endocarditis and Infections in patients receiving immunosuppressive drugs are treated.
